Channel 5 finally revealed what we all knew tonight after they confirmed that this series of Big Brother will feature two seperate houses.

Rumours of a two house twist came in March after planning permission to build a 'second house' was granted by Local authority Hertsmere Borough Council.

Work has moved along fast in the last few weeks to erect the new 'second house' and a permanent Eviction studio, as well as improvements to the crowd area.

While a group of housemates will live in the main house as normal, the second house will be home to a separate group of contestants known as the ‘Others’, who will not be fully-fledged housemates.

Instead, they must conspire against the housemates to steal their places in the main house. Only once an Other enters the main house will they become eligible to win the reduced £100,000 prize

Big Brother 2016 begins Tuesday 7th June at 9pm on Channel 5.
